Dr. Rolanda Fabien

As a dedicated wife, mother, and educator, Dr. Fabien is passionate about helping ambitious caregivers and professionals navigate the demands of their roles without sacrificing their well-being. Being a military veteran with over 20 years of expertise in Educational Leadership and Special Education teaching, training, and compliance. She sets the vision for Bright IDEA.

Beyond consulting, Dr. Fabien is the author of The Special Education Guidebook Series and an engaging content creator, sharing practical strategies for work-life balance, wellness, and professional growth. Whether in the classroom, boardroom, or online, her passion remains the same: helping others learn, grow, and thrive.

 Through her business, books, online programs, and YouTube channel, she provides practical, no-fluff tools for personal and professional success. Her approach is rooted in the belief that “we wear many crowns, but true wisdom is knowing not to wear them all at once.” With faith as her foundation, she inspires others to live fully, lead boldly, and prioritize what truly matters.

Our History

Bright IDEA Consulting recognized the need for a team of knowledgeable community partners who could serve as liaisons to facilitate collaborative partnerships between families, schools, and community organizations. We formed our organization to educate, equip, and support parents, empowering them to better advocate for their children’s needs. In doing so, families, educators, and businesses become game-changing forces in fostering a culture of belonging within a diverse world. Since our humble beginnings, we’ve continued to grow—and we look forward to the honor and pleasure of helping you do the same.

Our Team

Our amazing team brings over 20 years of experience in providing educational services, advocacy, support, and consultation. We specialize in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and the implementation and compliance of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
