Students & Parents
As a parent of a child with disabilities, you understand the importance of providing your child with the best resources possible to meet their individual needs. Our special education advocacy training and support programs provides you with the information you need to advocate for your child to ensure they have the best possible educational experience, even if they attend a public school.
Educators
As an educator, you have a mission to provide a positive learning experience for all children to thrive regardless of disability. Bright IDEA saw the lack of special education resources across our country, leading to children not being able to reach their full academic potential. We provide quality professional development training and guidance to improve the professional practices of faculty and staff.
Organizations
Whether you are an organization or business that works directly with children or not, there is always room for improvement and implementation of diversity and inclusion training. In today’s world, everyone has the right to request business or services no matter their capabilities or special needs. As a business or organization, your employees must be trained properly to avoid discrimination. Working with diverse special needs within your community can help empower and create welcoming environments for children and adults with different abilities.
Courses & Services
We offer both our guidebooks, “The Special Education Guidebook Series: IDEA Need-to-Know Laws, Policies and Procedures for Parents and Teachers of Children with Disabilities”; and “The Special Education Guidebook Series: Section 504 Need-to-Know Laws, Policies and Procedures for Parents and Teachers of Children with Disabilities” to provide you with valuable information to support your child’s social and educational needs.
While guidebooks are great, at Bright IDEA we understand the importance of visual learning. With that in mind, we also created two training programs for you to use to break down special education advocacy in terms that are simple to understand and easy-to-follow modules.
