Meet Our Founder & CEO
Dr. Rolanda Fabien
Dr. Rolanda Fabien was raised with strong values of faith, family, and self-care, she learned early on that success comes from hard work and resilience. After serving in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, she pursued a bachelor’s in Psychology and a master’s in Counseling & Student Services at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her passion for education led her to earn a double Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Teaching & Learning, followed by a Doctorate of Education in Teaching and Learning from Argosy University – Atlanta. Now living in Florida with her husband and children, she blends her love for family, faith, and lifelong learning into everything she does.
With over 25 years in education, Dr. Rolanda Fabien has worn many hats—teacher, instructional coach, adjunct professor, and entrepreneur—each role deepening her expertise in special education, social-emotional learning (SEL), and trauma-informed care (TIC). Combining her academic knowledge with real-world experience, she has developed transformative programs that help schools and organizations foster inclusive, supportive environments. As the founder and CEO of Bright IDEA Consulting LLC—a certified Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Minority Business Enterprise—she leads professional training initiatives that equip educators and leaders with the tools to create lasting impact. Beyond consulting, she is the author of The Special Education Guidebook Series and an engaging content creator, sharing practical strategies for work-life balance, wellness, and professional growth. Whether in the classroom, the boardroom, or online, her passion remains the same: helping others learn, grow, and thrive.
Dr. Fabien is passionate about helping ambitious caregivers and professionals navigate the demands of their roles without sacrificing their well-being. Through her business, books, online programs, and YouTube channel, she provides practical, no-fluff tools for personal and professional success. Her approach is rooted in the belief that "we wear many crowns, but true wisdom is knowing not to wear them all at once".
